Merle, Florence, Caroline and Who?

I took this picture to Uncle Bob and between the two of us we think we know who three of the five women are. According to Uncle Bob the woman on the left side of the image, first in the row of four, is Florence Hopfinger-Thierwechter. The woman on the complete right of the image is Merle Fritsche-Leutz. Assuming the woman on the porch is the same as this woman her name is Caroline Hopfinger-Fritsche.

Timeframe: Assuming that the oldest woman is in fact Caroline, this picture must have been taken before December, 1910. Looking at the girls dresses you will notice the skirts are smooth at the hips, their belts are moderately wide and the hair is puffed out at the sides dating this image to 1904-1907. Keeping that in mind can anybody ID the other women?

Where It Fits: Caroline Hopfinger-Fritsche is the daughter of Charles Hopfinger and Friedericka Richardson. Caroline is the mother of Merle Fritsche-Leutz. Caroline is the aunt of Florence Hopfinger-Thierwechter. Florence is the daughter of August Charles Hopfinger, a son of Charles Hopfinger & Friedericka Richardson.

Todays birthdays are Carl Leutz, Edward Reif, Justin Rofker and Justina Rofker-Lafer.

Cousin Carrie

This is a page from the autograph book of Caroline "Carrie" Hopfinger. It was written by her cousin, A. A. Hopfinger. I do believe A. A. Hopfinger to be Adolph Arnold Hopfinger, the son of Michael Hopfinger & Victoria Kromer. I do believe the main page says

Cousin Carrie,
Laugh and grow fat
Be merry I advise
And as we are merry
Let us still be wise
Yours forever,
A.A. Hopfinger
It is dated in the top right hand corner as "Port Clinton, April 21/83" and along the right hand side of the page it says "Forget me not, forget me never". I can't make out what is on the left hand side of the page. It looks like an abbreviation for something but I can't figure out what.

Timeframe: April, 1883. That would make Carrie 18 years old and A.A. would be 17.

Where It Fits: Michael and Charles Hopfinger are brothers. Michael is the father of A. A. Hopfinger and Charles is the father of Caroline Hopfinger. A. A. Hopfinger married Agnes and is the father of Cecilia, Leali, Eulaia and Adilade. Caroline is the mother of Merle Fritsche.

Mother & Daughter

This picture has no photographers imprint but somebody took great detail in labeling the back. It identifies the two women in this picture as "Merle, born Sept. 18, 1894" & "Caroline Fritsche - Died Dec. 1910". It also gives the date of the picture as "7/14 - 1910".

Timeframe: Apparently July 14, 1910. On that date Merle would have been 15 and Caroline just shy of her 46th birthday.

Where it Fits: Caroline was the daughter of Charles Hopfinger & Fredericka Richardson. Caroline Hopfinger married J.R. Fritsche. Caroline Fritsche is the mother of Merle. Merle Leutz is the mother of A.J., Mary Caroline & Robert.
