Since his birthday was earlier this week I figured this would be a good time to post a picture of Richard Johannsen.
Timeframe: This was taken about the time of his high school graduation so 1946 or so.
Where It Fits: Richard Johannsen is the son of John Cornelius Johannsen & Marie Margaret Steffens. He is the grandson of Julius Johannsen & Caroline Japsen and Otto Steffens & Theresa Shilling. Richard married Jennie Lou Heflinger and they had three children, Sara, Denise and Brian Johannsen.
In History: Today would be the 114th birthday of Emilie Fritsche Michel.
